Cross Flow & Vertical Flow Wastewater Media

Arengo cross flow and vertical flow media are manufactured for specific wastewater and sewage treatment objectives. Cross flow media uses a 60° corrugated sheet pattern assembled in alternating cross-corrugated modules, producing uniform horizontal redistribution of air and water. This increases contact time between the wastewater stream and the biofilm on the medium surface, enhancing biological treatment efficiency. Vertical flow media (wetpads) allow water to trickle downward through the media while air is drawn across, maximising evaporation and air-water contact through the cross-corrugated design.
